The Verse comb is a flexible and versatile design that can be manipulated to the shape of your bridal hairstyle. This classic and sophisticated piece is feminine on all levels.

Earrings: We love to style the Verse headpiece with our TULIP, LOURDES, MIDSUMMER, BELLA and MONTAGUE earrings.
Veil: Wear the Verse headpiece with a plain or embellished veil with pearl or crystal details. It can be worn with single or two tier veils in fingertip, chapel or cathedral lengths. Our favourite pairings include our ROSELLA, AMORA, THEODORE, AUDREY or BLAIR veils.
Hair: All romantic hairstyles – updos, half up hairstyles and loose waves.
Dresses: Style this with wedding gowns with classic, traditional or modern appeal. This can include almost all necklines including off the shoulder, plunging fronts or backs, cap sleeves, long sleeves and strapless dresses.

Can this be worn with a veil?
The Verse was designed to be worn with a veil – and it also looks exquisite without one. The metal combs on the headpiece are positioned at the ends of the headpiece which creates the perfect space for a veil comb that’s around 3.5 inches in width. We recommend pairing it with veils that aren’t too bulky at the comb as heavy tulle or ribbon wrapping on a veil comb can show through. Our full collection of veils are handcrafted onto finely wrapped metal combs for a more seamless finish. We’d love to offer veil suggestions from our veil collection to suit your wedding gown and hairstyle.
The Verse might be too long for me. Can it be made shorter?
The Verse headpiece is designed to extend slightly beyond the width of a veil for an elegant and seamless finish. We cannot scale the piece down but we can shorten it by redistributing the elements which will include the removal of some details so the headpiece feels balanced and proportional. You’re welcome to email us photos of your dress and bridal hairstyle and we can discuss what the options are and send you a quote.
I love this headpiece but I’m not sure if it will suit my bridal hairstyle?
Please email us photos of your bridal hairstyle and we can offer recommendations. Verse is a beautifully versatile headpiece that can be worn with loose and romantic updos and half up hairstyles.
Why does this headpiece have two separated combs?
We design our headpieces with functionality in mind. The split combs allow you to curve the headpiece around the contours of your head and the combs at the ends mean it will sit flush against your hair for a more seamless finish. The space between the combs is designed to accommodate a 3.5 inch veil. There is no need to add a centre comb as the side combs will be sufficient to hold it into place. Please note: an additional centre comb may interfere with the placement of your veil. If your veil comb is longer than 3.5 inches, we can lengthen the Verse to accommodate. Please contact us and we can send you a quote.
How do I secure the comb in my hair?
The Verse is attached to two metal combs which can be secured to your hair with bobby pins. Insert the comb in your hair and using 2 bobby pins that match your hair colour, secure the comb into place by discreetly creating an X shape across the metal teeth of the comb in the hair.
How can this headpiece be customised?
The Verse can be customised in many ways including changes to length, details and silhouette. Please email us photos of your wedding dress and bridal hairstyle, including your custom requests and we can discuss how to best customise this design to suit your dress and hairstyle. We will also provide a quote and include details on production and shipping timeframes.
Does it arrive gift boxed?
Your Verse headpiece will arrive beautifully packaged in our signature gift packaging, including care instructions for safe keeping.

Absolutely. Send us an email with your urgent wedding date and we’ll get back to you with confirmation ASAP.
What happens after I submit my order?
Once you submit your order, we’ll be in touch to discuss processing/production and delivery timeframes for the items you ordered. We’ll also check your wedding date and answer any styling or product questions you may have. If you have ordered a veil with a blusher, we’ll ask you for your height measurement and an idea of where you’ll be positioning the comb in your hair to ensure we cut your blusher to a flattering length. Please note: some styles from the collection are ‘ready to ship’ and others are ‘made to order’ so please check timeframes in each listing.
