Draped in Flowers wedding cape is designed for brides looking for a chic alternative to a traditional wedding veil. We transformed the untamed floral details from our RIVIERA veil and reimagined it to form the ultimate accessory to elevate the clean lines and sleek silhouette of a modern wedding dress.

The breathtaking details will create a grand entrance on your wedding day. Completely hand embellished to perfection, it’s customisable to suit your dress and measurements.

STYLING INFORMATION

This decadent floral cape accentuates a modern or traditional wedding dress with its long silhouette, reminiscent of a veil.

The Draped in Flowers cape falls to 300cm from the shoulders to the end of the train. The lace and floral embellishments start at the shoulders and extend down to below the fingertips/knee. The bottom and middle section of this cape is left bare so it can blend in beautifully with your wedding dress without overwhelming it.

Wear it with:

Earrings: We love to style this cape with classic drop earrings, studs or statement earrings. Our favourite pairings include our CASCADE, PABLO, TULIP, ELISABETTA, ESTATE, SEVILLA and MIDSUMMER earrings.
Headpiece: This statement cape speaks volumes on its own. If you wish to wear it with a headpiece, style it with a delicate headband like our RUBEN, BLANCHETT, TEMPEST or ADRIANA.
Hair: All romantic hairstyles – updos, half up hairstyles, low set ponytails and loose waves.

All capes are made to order with your specific measurements in mind. There is no one-size-fits all cape in our collection. Please contact us before you submit your order and we can chat details.
Can you change the neckline?
Please send us photos of your wedding dress (preferably one showing you in your dress from a dress fitting) and we can offer advice and recommendations on whether this cape will suit your look. If not, we can offer suggestions on how it can be customised to suit you. We can alter all aspects of the design: change the layout of embellishments, modify the cut, shorten/lengthen the length, modify the beading etc. The world is your oyster.
Can the Draped in Flowers be shortened to a fingertip or waist length cape?
Most definitely. We can customise the Draped in Flowers cape to suit your dress silhouette, height and train length.
Can you add a blusher layer to a cape?
Unfortunately, we can’t add a blusher layer as this would interrupt the flow and look of a cape. Another option might be a loose hood which would frame your hair and face. Please note, a hood wouldn’t extend over the face as a blusher, it would sit just along your hairline.
Can you customise the flowers and beading to match my dress?
We love to customise our designs to better suit your wedding dress. Variations to flower shapes and different flower sizes will impact the flow and look of the design so we’d be happy to offer suggestions on how this can be achieved.

Can you extend the embellishments onto the train?
The embellishments can be extended across the full circumference of the veil. The finished look would be next level gorgeous! Please contact us for a quote.

Your Draped in Flowers cape will arrive beautifully packaged in our signature gift packaging, including care instructions for safe keeping.
Can I request a rush order?
Absolutely. Send us an email with your urgent wedding date and we’ll get back to you with confirmation ASAP. We have limited supplies for Draped in Flowers rush orders so please contact us to confirm.
What is the Draped in Flowers cape made from?
This cape is handcrafted from a lightweight bridal illusion tulle in soft ivory or white tones. It features imported fine lace, sheer petals which are hand formed into flowers, hand beading and Austrian pearl embellishments.
I’m not sure what colour would suit my dress
Please send us a link to your wedding dress and we’d love to send you a recommendation. If your dress isn’t available online, you’re welcome to email us photos of your dress taken in natural light. We’re always happy to send fabric swatches.
What is the difference between your ‘bridal white’ and ‘soft ivory’?
We like to aim for a colour match or a shade lighter than your wedding dress. The ‘soft ivory’ is a light ivory which suits off-white to medium ivory wedding gowns. The ‘bridal white’ is best paired with clean white gowns without any warm undertones.

BRIDAL WHITE veil: Pair this with white, silk white or diamond white wedding dresses.
SOFT IVORY veil: Pair this with off-white, light ivory, soft ivory or medium ivory wedding dresses.
Can I request a sample?
Absolutely, we’d love to send you a fabric swatch free of charge. Send us an email with your wedding date and postal address and we can ship a sample of the tulle out to you. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery via standard post for international addresses.
What happens after I submit my order?
Once you submit your order, we’ll be in touch to discuss processing/production and delivery timeframes for the items you ordered. We’ll also check your wedding date and answer any styling or product questions you may have. If you have ordered a veil with a blusher, we’ll ask you for your height measurement and an idea of where you’ll be positioning the comb in your hair to ensure we cut your blusher to a flattering length. Please note: some styles from the collection are ‘ready to ship’ and others are ‘made to order’ so please check timeframes in each listing.
