What types of custom changes can I request?

Is there a fee for custom changes? How much does a bespoke piece cost?
Due to the individual nature of custom changes, prices are quoted on a case-by-case basis. Prices will depend on the nature of the piece or changes requested, timeframes, availability of supplies, size and detailing. Please contact us to with a description of what you have in mind, your wedding date and location, and any other details or photos that might be helpful, and we will get back to you with a quote and questions if we need more information.
Can I send a sample of my lace or fabric to check for a colour match? Do you send samples?
Most definitely. In fact, we encourage it! We are happy to send you samples or you can send us a sample of your dress fabric (which we will then send back to you). Please contact us and we can chat about next steps.
My wedding is fast approaching. Is it too late to request custom changes or a bespoke piece?
We love to help our brides so feel free to get in touch to check our availability. Peak wedding season is often booked out months in advance so please get in touch early to secure your place. We sometimes have openings if we’re ahead of schedule so don’t hesitate to ask!
How long should I allow for production of a custom piece?
We always suggest that brides seeking a bespoke piece allow at least 6-12 weeks to give us time to understand their vision, order supplies, design and develop the piece. However, this may be expedited for a rush fee depending on the bespoke schedule and availability of supplies. Peak wedding season is often booked out months in advance so please get in touch early to secure your place. Please also allow time for shipping from the studio to your home or workplace. An accurate timeframe will be confirmed in our conversations.
Can you copy a design I found online by another designer?
No, sorry. We respect copyright and value individual creativity and will not accept requests to reproduce pieces from other designers. You are welcome to share designs you love with us as inspiration, and we can use the images as a guide for the type of piece you’re after, but we will not replicate it.
