Marion was designed for wedding gowns of refined sophistication. This timeless design is beautiful on its own or style it with a veil to instantly elevate your bridal look.

Wear it with:

Earrings: We love to style the Marion headpiece with our TULIP, CASCADE, PABLO, NIGHTINGALE and MIDSUMMER earrings.
Veil: Wear the Marion headpiece with a plain or embellished veil with pearl or crystal details. It can be worn with single or two tier veils in fingertip, chapel or cathedral lengths. Our favourite pairings include our ROSELLA, AMORA, THEODORE, AUDREY, MIDNIGHT or BLAIR veils.
Hair: Romantic hairstyles including updos and half up hairstyles.
Dresses: Style this with wedding gowns with contemporary, vintage or traditional wedding dresses with classic or bohemian appeal. This can include almost all necklines including off the shoulder, plunging fronts or backs, cap sleeves, long sleeves and strapless dresses.

FAQS

Can the Marion headpiece be worn with a veil?
The Marion headpiece can be worn with or without a veil. The metal combs on the headpiece are positioned at the ends of the headpiece which creates the perfect space for your veil comb to slip in between. If your veil is bulky at the comb, the fullness of the middle section will offer coverage for a more seamless finish. If you haven’t chosen a veil, we’d love to offer veil suggestions from our veil collection to suit your wedding gown and hairstyle.
Can you sew the veil directly onto the headpiece?
We don’t recommend sewing the veil directly onto the headpiece due to the delicate nature of the materials. By keeping the pieces separate, it also allows greater versatility with styling. To wear the Marion with a veil, position the veil in your hair first and then place the Marion on top securing the combs of the headpiece into your hair with bobby pins. If you wish to remove the veil after the ceremony, simply lift and remove the veil and the Marion headpiece can remain in place.
The Marion might be too long for me. Can it be made shorter?
The Marion headpiece is designed to extend beyond the width of a veil comb to frame your hairstyle and veil. We can shorten the headpiece so that it’s more compact. While we cannot scale the piece down, we can shorten the piece by redistributing the floral, leaf and pearl elements. You’re welcome to email us photos of your dress and bridal hairstyle and we’d love to offer styling advice.
I love this headpiece but I’m not sure if it will suit my bridal hairstyle?
Please email us photos of your bridal hairstyle and we can offer recommendations. Marion is a beautifully versatile headpiece that can be worn with loose and romantic updos, half up hairstyles and loose curls. If you’re planning a low set bun, the Marion can be curved to create a ‘U’ shape just above your low set bun. If you’re planning a high bun, the Marion can be worn underneath it or you can position it on top of the bun and curve it downwards.
Why does this headpiece have two separated combs?
We design our headpieces with functionality in mind. The split combs allow you to curve the headpiece around the contours of your head and the combs at the ends mean it will sit flush against your hair for a more seamless finish. The space between the combs is designed to accommodate your veil. There is no need to add a centre comb as the side combs will be sufficient to hold it into place. Please note: an additional centre comb may interfere with the placement of your veil.
How do I secure the comb in my hair?
The Marion is attached to two metal combs which can be secured to your hair with bobby pins. Insert the comb in your hair and using 2 bobby pins that match your hair colour, secure the comb into place by discreetly creating an X shape across the metal teeth of the comb in your hair.
How can this headpiece be customised?
The Marion can be customised in many ways including changes to length, details and silhouette. We can also create a hybrid design that incorporates details from other headpieces in our collection. Please email us photos of your wedding dress and bridal hairstyle, including your custom requests and we can discuss how to best customise this design to suit your dress and hairstyle. We will also provide a quote and include details on production and shipping timeframes.
Will it arrive gift boxed?
Your Marion headpiece will arrive beautifully packaged in our signature gift packaging, including care instructions for safe keeping.
Can I request a rush order?
Absolutely. Send us an email with your urgent wedding date and we’ll get back to you with confirmation ASAP.
What happens after I submit my order?
Once you submit your order, we’ll be in touch to discuss processing/production and delivery timeframes for the items you ordered. We’ll also check your wedding date and answer any styling or product questions you may have. If you have ordered a veil with a blusher, we’ll ask you for your height measurement and an idea of where you’ll be positioning the comb in your hair to ensure we cut your blusher to a flattering length. Please note: some styles from the collection are ‘ready to ship’ and others are ‘made to order’ so please check timeframes in each listing.
